Please define what is ROI?
Don't copy from anywhere...I already visited many pages but i am still in doubt so try to describe in your words.
ROI - is the "Return on investment"
Think about "dragons den" (sorry it's a TV prog but you asked in my own words)
, the dragons put so much money into the new business, but the want to know how much that company will make for them.
example dragon invest £20,000 for 10% of company. If the company makes £1,000,000 the dragon will recieve £100,000 or a 500% ROI.
In SEO terms, if you are doing google adwords, and you are spending £20 a day on this but getting £100 worth of sales from them then this is a good ROI again 500% but if you're only making £5 of sales, this wouldn't be so good.
Basically I see ROI who much you spend / how much you make, and is it worth the intial outlay.
If this still confuses you perhaps you could explain why you are looking at ROI and we might be able to explain.

As above mention that ROI is return of investment in sort whatever money you are investing in your business and you will satisfy when you got good return of investment (ROI) from business. In PPC ROI keeps very important role it tell how much lead generated from your PPC campaign.
ROI (Return on Investment) with regards to SEO or PPC campaigns relates to the amount of profit percentage gained from the investment spent. It is definitely a critical figure that has to be evaluated when using PPC programs like Adwords in comparison to other marketing campaigns.
Oh and higher the better obviously! lol
When someone in business talks about their ROI, they mean their Return On Investment. A savvy business person will want to know all about the ROI of a project, because it tells him or her how successful it is. ROI is usually a matter of simple mathematics, although it can involve a number of different factors.

Hello Friends....
ROI is the abbreviation for Return on Investment. It is a measure of a
company's ability to use its assets to generate additional value for
shareholders. It is calculated as Net Profit divided by Net Worth, and
expressed as a percentage.
Thanks.
Please accept my apology if the question was vague.Given those two goals (minimum return and maximum laverage), I find my returns to be relatively consistent and definitely reasonable given alternative investments. Though again, ROI is not my primary goal.
Any expense that a company has can be calculated in terms of ROI. Some expenses may not have any direct ROI, or their ROI might be zero. Buying a new stapler, replacing a broken printer, or repainting a room doesn't produce any revenue, so these expenses don't have any ROI.
For this reason, ROI is not customarily used to discuss these types of expenses, even thought they could be considered investments in the company. A more common use for ROI might be something like an ad campaign. Buying ad space in a newspaper, hiring a graphic designer to create the ad, and paying a photographer to take pictures of your product all cost money.
