firstly, thanks for signing up at our seoforums - its great having you!

as this board grows we will introduce some rules and guidelines, as we experiment with new stuff.

in the first of those new guidelines:

Signature Links
You ARE allowed sig links

BUT: the sig links will be "nofollow" until you have 30 posts.
AND: any posts with less than 25 words will be automatically nofollowed.
AND: only the first (eligible) post per page displayed will carry links...


...so - if you have 5 posts in the same thread on the same page, your sig links will only appear on the first of your 5 posts.

Feel free to ask any questions or make any suggestions

Quite interesting innovation about rules admin!
I guess - the developed script is giving you all these wonderful options.
I also think few valued members are more important than those who just sign-up --leave a few links in their profiles - blah-blah-blah
Seen lots of those things.

Although - I am not a professional SEO/SEM/Internet Marketer myself - I have still been online for more than 7 years and I reckon - I know A,B,C,D of the 'thing". I also have some friends - who find most webmaster forums too polluted with useless discussions, self-promotion and so on.
Except Webmasterworld , cre8asite forums and couple of other sites there is hardly anyplace else to dicuss something meaningful.
Hopefully, this forum is not going to be another one of those run-of-the mill SEO-cum-webmaster forums where any-body can discuss anything.

Seriously, the domain is good - and so it should be taken care that it lives up-to the reputation. Otherwise -serious members won't last long like that in DP or V7N or other forums.
Please don't take it other-wise -- it is a constructive suggestion.

Thanks for clearing out all the rules in a simple and straight way...I am really getting a lot to know about SEO from here...but sorry a bit busy..and not regular but still I will try to give my best..

Good rule! Almost SEO Guys like us update signature links first if this feature is open!
