I know some webmasters like this and some don't , I feel that it brings a little bit of community into play , not only that but at the same time removes the pointless posts like "Thanks for the info" .

I know its just another thing instead of, or as well as reputation but i personally like it. Id rather say thanks than give rep....but thats just me.
