What do you all have to say about the huge list of social networks divided according to their niche?
As the most effective way to market a website as participation marketing continues to gain traction, as a crucial part of that strategy niche social markets are beginning to emerge. While playing an integral part in social media campaigns, the best targeted users and groups are not there with Facebook and Twitter. Highly targeted people are offered by niche social networks like eZdia. Based on niche, a division would probably help to target people easily for social marketing. What do you all have to say about this? Does anyone have any thoughts on this topic? Would anyone have any suggestions?

It depends on what is your strategy on social media. It is not social media fault if we don't know how to implement the strategy. Even Facebook and Twitter are general social media but you can choose who do you want to engage with. Linkedin is my best social media to my business.

It is how to use social media, not which. And social media is about building relationship. If you know well how human behave online, regardless which social media, you still can get your business.

I agree, there are ways on every site to generate the traffic that is unique or at least more relevant.
