Reasons for getting banned from this forum

Hey friends,

It’s just a curious thought; what gets a person banned? I am aware that blatant copying and spamming is a couple of reasons for this. Are there any other? How about posting in the wrong sections? Asking repeated and irrelevant questions? Bumping old threads? Replying to more posts to get the post count up? How do forums view of these practices? The main reason behind this is that as I am a new entrant on this thread, I would like to avoid these practices as much as possible. I would appreciate your
help in this matter.

please note - these rules are very likely to be added to in future, with some of the other stuff you ask, ie. asking repeated and irrelevant questions (thats an annoying one).

Basically, if it doesnt "feel right", dont do it. Then you wont get banned.

Its also worth noting by the way, that I am deleting every post from banned members as well, so spammers ultimately get no value from trying their trickery on this forum.
