Thread: Tried all I know, this site will not index. Is this why?

Hi all, first post, I've a big problem hopefully someone here will have experience off...

I bought a doman 3months ago [URL="http://goasp.net"]http://goasp.net[/URL]

I joined google webmasters, submitted sitemap, checked the seo, all seems ok, but inside google webmaster stats none of my pages index.

In google if you type site:goasp.net you can see the pages but not if you type goasp.net

I haven't seen this before. I'm not even talking about getting keyword results, I'm just trying to see the domain name.

To me it looks like maybe the domain before I bought it was used for something google disliked and took the whole domain out of its index?

I'm just guessing but could someone please explain what state this domain is in, and how I can help google realise the site is for a good purpose.

Try with google Adwords PPC campaigns. It will help you.

try all the off page activity so that google will indexed all the urls of your website.

Maybe you just need a bit of patience? Try to get some good blog links to your site as Google likes blogs and crawles them more freaquently that other link sites such as directories...

Check your robots.txt and also get some good inbound links from article websites. Googles spiders will then be able to index your site.

You only have 11 links pointing to your website according to Yahoo Site Explorer...
