This topic is mainly directed at the people who are preaching about blog commenting, it sucks, get over it; anyway moving on. This is a very, very simple way to build some back links, more or less.



1) Google the following line of code

inurl:index.php "powered by vbulletin"

2) Click on a result
3) Click on a normal user's username to view their profile
4) If you cannot view their profile, then go back to step #2
5) Register on the forum
6) Edit your profile
7) Stick a couple of links in your sig
8) Go to the forums index
9) Scroll down to active users
10) Click on your username
11) Extract the URL (Your profile URL)
12) Ping this URL (pingoat.com etc)
13) Bookmark this URL (digg.com etc)
14) Rinse and repeat

This is an ok method, the problem is that it is only good for getting your profile page indexed, but some forums place a nofollow on the links inside the profile so before you go out and start pining all over the place I would make sure to check for the nofollow tags. It's still a tip though and thanks for sharing.

I agree even digg is a nofollow site, but anyway thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the tip, Ive been trying but i dont know how to put a sig. I think you need a min of posts to have that option? Like here or something? Would this procedure work with other forums too??

This is a spammy and pure black hat technique to get links which I think are of zero value. Focus your attention on creating link worthy content rather than creating spam...

i don't think that it will more helpful for generate quality back links.

@gurvinderpal agreed with you, i will go for creating quality backlinks for me to stay in the competition, building some articles with good quality content that promotes my site and get the desired high rank in search engines.
