Hi webcare,
No one Guranteed about the PR of the website.
And no one knows when Google is going to update it.
Its myth among people that PR update happen in every three month but as far as I am concern its on going process.

I agree with chauhan because PR is totally a different thing. You can't mix it with your on page or off page work.
