Default Article auto-submissions....do all those links get picked up?

I am getting ready to grap myself a copy of Big Mikes Articlebot but i've been reading in some forums that if you submit to 400 directories that Google is only going to credit you for the first link it picks up and dismisses the rest as duplicate content.

If that's the case why submit to 400 sites if your only going to get the juice for one....and if Google grabs the first one from a REALLY crappy site why not only submit to Ezine for a good quality backlink?

    Thanks for any responses

    Hi mate,

I honestly wouldnt bother with this automated submission stuff these days - that practice used to work, about 7 years ago, these days its not really worthwhile.

you are much better off just getting two good links that 500 bad ones anyway.

    thanks!

Priceless for making you think you're saving time thus an increase in assumed productivity.

Worthless for anything remotely to do with SEO - link development and ranking improvement thus no realized productivity value whatsoever.

If your fruition value is based on "wasting time"... it's definitely worth the money.

    Default Auto Article Submission

Article or directory submissions to 100 or 400 different site is nor relevant nowadays, as your link/article gets submitted to first 2-3 sites only. So, its better to manually submit your articles/links to different site or article sirectories.

Some auto submission might get picked up about 50%, but the risk is, if you're using those tools too much, google might sandbox you

I'm not 100% sure about article directories, but social networks still work well. Personally I would suggest you submitting URLs to sites powered by Scuttle or PHPDug script (you can find many, many of these... and there are some tools to automate submissions in full).
