Let me explain throughan example.

We have 3 site. Site A,Site B,Site C

Site A links to site B.
Site B links to site C.
Site C links to site A.


This is 3 -way linking.

if you are asking about 3 ways links in order to trick Google and hope to get higher value from incoming link, you will be disappointed. Google can easily identify 3 ways link and if they feel you are engaging a lot in them you will be penalized.

One thing mind that please don't do link exchange in bulk. If Google find your this activity than you may be get banned or penalize by Google Devta.

I agree with you. In 3 way ink exchange we need 3 site. Generally 3 way link exchange technique is not more beneficial.

Save your time and work on quality one way links, relevancy is best but I have been told they all do the job.

For a three way link you would have to find decent two sites, why not just find them and get them both to point to your site without outbounding to them

hmm.. I don't think so. You won't be penalized by Google if your site is engage a lot on 3 way link exchange... In fact, it is the better way for exchanging links, since it looks more natural than on reciprocal link exchange.
